The practice undertakes to provide high quality dental care by appropriately trained staff and ensure that you are involved in decisions about your care.
We provide treatment on a private basis, including general dentisty,cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.

Practice owner: Dr Davina Mahoney is the sole owner of FD Surgery Ltd.
Please contact the practice if you would like to make an appointment at a time that is convenient for you. Information about our prices, services, treatments, plans etc. is available from reception or on our website. You may express a preference to which practioner you wish to see; please talk to the receptionist.

Davina is the owner of the practice, and clinical director and has been established in Felpham village since 1985.

John joined the practice ten years ago and has a special interest in root fillings and complex restorations.
Dr Mauricio Carrillo BDS(Hons) RCS Edin, GDC 114243
Mauricio joined the practice three years ago and his interest include complex restorations, oral surgery,implantology and facial aesthetics.Mauricio also works in the oral surgery department at Worthing Hospital.

David joined the practice in 2023 and particularly enjoys restorative and endodontic dentistry .

Jaume is a Registered Specialist in oral surgery with a special interest in periodontics and complex dental implants.Prior to moving to the UK,Jaume was an associate professor at the University of Barcelona and consultant maxillofacial surgeoun at the Royal South Hampshire Hospital,Southamton.To date,Jaume has placed over five thousand dental implants.

Should you have a dental emergency outside of the practice opening hours, please call 01243 864663 between 09.00 and 11.00.The service is provided by Felpham Dental.
Complaints procedure
If you have any concerns or comments about your experience of our practice, please contact reception or Dr Davina Mahoney on 01243 864663 who will explain our complaints procedure. A copy of the procedure is also available from our website www.felphamdental.com, from reception and also from the waiting room.
Patient confidentiality
We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and have systems in place to protect all personal information. All patient records are stored securely. We do not release information to a third party without your express permission, unless the information is required by law. A copy of the practice confidentiality policy is available at reception. You can also request information about your rights to view your records and a copy of our Data Protection Privacy Policy.

We accept the following methods of payment at the practice cash, and all major credit and debit cards.

Disability Access
Our treatment areas can be accessed by patients using wheelchairs and other walking aids. We have a hearing loop, visual aids, disability friendly toilets and our surgeries are air conditioned. Friends and carers may accompany you during your visit. Translating services are available.
If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about, please give us a call before your appointment and we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs.
We will aim to ensure that you are cared for by your preferred dentist and hygienist. Where this is not possible, we will explain the reasons. Please let our receptionists know when you book your next appointment.
We encourage our patients to receive regular dental care to achieve and maintain good oral health. We will undertake a dental care assessment during your first appointment to assess and agree your treatment needs.
The following languages are spoken at the practice: English, Spanish.
Missed appointments results in wasted time that could be used by other patients. We ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, you let the practice know and give as much notice as possible and, at least 24 hours. If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact us a soon as possible.
Patients who are violent or abusive to practice staff, other patients or anyone else on the practice premises will be refused treatment and reported to the appropriate authorities.
